We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Technician to join our teams in Dunedin, Cromwell and Nelson Tasman

The role:

 We are seeking a registered and currently practicing Power Technician with excellent problem solving skills to join our teams of Technicians in Dunedin, Cromwell and Nelson Tasman  

Reporting to the Technician Team Leader, the Technician roles involve performing installation, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, testing and commissioning on a wide range of Electricity Supply Industry Plant including control equipment and instrumentation.

 To be considered for this role, you must have: 

· Electrical Registration

· A current practicing licence

· A current and clean drivers licence

· Good problem solving skills

· An analytical approach to fault finding in distribution equipment and systems

· A good track record in dealing with customers

· Competent in using a computer. 

Ideally you will be conversant with regulations and practice involving high voltage plant. We will provide immediate training to support you in your role, and ongoing training may be offered for future progression within Delta.
